Ah, Australia. Every route between Perth and Karratha is closed due to multiple simultaneous truck crashes closing the roads. Pilbara News says the alternate route is a 76 hour, 7,113 kilometer drive. I don’t buy that, so I put my former courier skills to use and looked for a better route.

I found this. It may not look like much. But it’s five hours and over 1,000 kilometers shorter, which is a start. It also avoids the Adelaide area, which is bound to be congested with traffic.
It would still be easier to get a boat. Or a plane. Or a case of beer and wait until the roads reopen.
